A Detroit rapper named Skilla Baby (his real name is Trevon Gardner) was shot at from a car in Michigan on Thursday evening. Police said someone was taken to the hospital with injuries that weren’t deadly, and other sources confirmed it was Skilla Baby.
Someone in another car drove up next to Skilla Baby and shot at him about 25 times. He was hit three times but will be okay. After being shot, his car crashed into a building. When police got there, his car had a lot of bullet holes, but he was already on his way to the hospital. He was awake at the hospital and is expected to get better. He was hit in the head, back, and hand.
The police are still looking for the person who shot him and drove away.
Last year, Skilla Baby worked with the city to have an event where people could give up their guns. He said it went well and they got 300 guns off the streets.
