What it is
The Breakout is a cruiser built around a long, low, custom look. Harley-Davidson describes a tall 533 mm (21-inch) front wheel, a 34-degree rake, and a 240 mm rear tyre. It is the visual opposite of a sport bike: the focus is on stance and presence more than speed.

Who the Breakout may suit
- Riders who want a custom look straight from the factory.
- Riders who are comfortable with a heavy bike. At over 300 kg, it takes strength and care when you are parking or pushing it.
- Riders who don’t mind limited ground clearance, at about 4.5 inches.
If you’re considering one, test-ride it and compare it with other cruisers on seat height, weight, insurance and running costs, not just looks.
